Kamazo the Assassin is a street murderer in Wano Country who is secretly an assassin working for the shogun Kurozumi Orochi.[2]
Appearance
Kamazo is a somewhat tall man with bandages all over his face as well as long, wavy light hair that is kept bound. He wears a dark kimono with sickle-shaped patterns placed on it irregularly, as well as an obi around his waist and a cape that both have target patterns on them.[2]
Personality
Kamazo is a violent man who takes pleasure in killing. If he encounters someone whom he has not been ordered to kill, he will give them the chance to get out of his way, but will kill anyone who stands between him and his target without issue. He is very confident in his abilities, constantly taunting his opponents and being sure that they will lose to him.[2]
Abilities and Powers
Kamazo is a highly skilled fighter. He fought well against the accomplished swordsman Roronoa Zoro, who acknowledged his skill, and he managed to injure Zoro with the unwitting help of the monk Gyukimaru.[2]
He frequently commits murders around Wano Country and has eluded justice, although his association with the shogunate helps to perpetuate this. A poster of him suggests that the public is aware of his long hair and a wide grin, but not of the bandages conspicuously covering his face.[2]

Kamazo wields two scythes as his main weapons.[2]
History
Wano Country Arc
According to a Wano newspaper, he was responsible for a street murder on the eighth street in District 2 of the Flower Capital.[3]
After the chaos at the palace, Kamazo was hired by Orochi to kill the kamuro Toko. He then pursued Toko and a woman to the Ringo region, where he came across a confrontation between Roronoa Zoro and Gyukimaru. Zoro then clashed with Kamazo to protect Toko and the woman. When Zoro was distracted by Gyukimaru, Kamazo landed a hit on him. However, Zoro was able to take one of his scythes as a result and strike him down.[2]
Trivia
- "Kama" (鎌?) can mean "scythe" or "sickle" in Japanese.
