Map of Kuma

The island is shaped like a giant model of Bartholomew Kuma's head. It is at least partly covered by jungle, and contains a variety of buildings, including ancient ruins and a large temple.[1]

Citizens[]

Kuma is seemingly uninhabited, allowing the okama to set up a scavenger hunt including an entire village's ruins and a palace.[1]

Wildlife[]

According to Sanji, the island's forest is full of large beasts. One of these beasts is a a creature resembling a giant lion with rabbit's ears.

In addition, one of the okama's trials used giant owls with red eyes, who react to heat and to sound. They wield giant axes, and wear helmets with a star in the center.

History[]

One Piece Party[]

In an attempt to find Sanji, a group of okama set up a scavenger hunt on Kuma, intentionally making it only solvable by the Straw Hat Pirates. They then spread maps of the island, and spread rumours that the Fabulous Marvelous could be found on the island.

While sailing, one of the maps of Kuma suddenly fell onto the Straw Hat Pirates' ship. They sailed to the island and explored through the scavenger hunt, eventually reaching the promised treasure, and instead discovered the okama.
