Captain Ladoga was a famous pirate captain who was able to travel as far as the New World. At the end of his journey, he hid his treasure on Swallow Island.[1]

History[]

Biography[]

At some point in the past, Ladoga was a famous pirate exploring the Grand Line. He traveled as far as the New World, but eventually, he and his crew contracted an unknown illness.[1]

Approximately 73 years before the current story, Ladoga and his crew landed on Swallow Island. After his crew died of their illness, Ladoga hid his treasure on the island, having left a letter pointing to its location elsewhere. With his treasure hidden, Ladoga died of his illness.[2]

Legacy[]

After his death, rumors about his treasure spread. However, nobody was able to find it, and it eventually became an urban legend.

Some time after returning to Swallow Island, Wolf stumbled onto Ladoga's treasure. He recognized what it was, and used the money to build the Hanamaru Muteki.[3]

During Artur Bacca's travels as a pirate, he stumbled upon the letter left by Ladoga. After verifying its validity, he connected it back to the stories he heard as a child, and returned to Swallow Island to retrieve the treasure. However, upon arriving, he discovered that Wolf had already taken the treasure.[1]
