At some point in the past, Lazarus was discovered by Buena Festa and encouraged to travel to the Grand Line as a pirate and entertainer.[2] Inspired by the Rumbar Pirates, he agreed with Festa and traveled out to sea.[1]
One Piece Odyssey[]
Due to the passion of his fans, the World Government assumed Lazarus was a hypnotist and assigned him a bounty. While stopped in Water 7, he was confronted by the Straw Hat Pirates, who quickly defeated him. He lamented being unable to fully travel the path of the Rumbar Pirates, before being given to Margin.
