LeMay is a former Marine captain who deserted his post and became a pirate captain. He appears in One Piece: Great Hidden Treasure of the Nanatsu Islands.
LeMay is a muscular, middle-aged man with a light brown beard, a downward-pointed nose, and wrinkles under his eyes. He wears a sleeveless white shirt that had golden shoulder pads, green pants, green shoes, and a green bandanna around his neck. He also wears a Marine cap, except the stripes that run down the middle are green instead of the standard blue.
LeMay seems to lack a sense of justice as he deserted the Marines and turned to piracy. He is immoral and deceitful, even going as far as posing as a Marine officer to fool civilians into a sense of security, only to steal all of their fortune.
Abilities and Powers
LeMay, despite his physicality, is fairly weak, being easily defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates. However, as a former Marine captain, he must have fighting experience to be able to achieve such a rank.
Great Hidden Treasure of the Nanatsu Islands
LeMay and his crewarrived at the Itsu Island where the Laotour Bandits reside and were exploring the island's mountains when they came across the Straw Hat Pirates. LeMay told the pirates that the region was occupied by the Marines and demanded that they leave. Zoro stepped forward and told LeMay that Luffy had a sizable bounty, intimidating LeMay. Zoro then questioned LeMay as to why he why he lacked information on bounties that Marines should be aware of, accusing LeMay of being an impostor. LeMay then explained that he was not a complete impostor, but a former Marine who continued to pose as one. Despite this, he fought the crew and, after being defeated, fled with his subordinates.
- Due to his minor role, LeMay's portraits and sprites are reused from generic enemies. He shares this fate with the other minor pirates captains, Carragan, Halsey, Kimmel and Meryl.
