The Legend of the Sacred Burning Beast of Baldimore is an incident that was caused by Franky after he was sent to the country of Baldimore by Bartholomew Kuma.^[1]

History[]

After the tiger skin rug that Franky was wearing over his face caught on fire, he stumbled out of the cave where he was hiding, screaming and appearing as a blazing tiger-like entity to the Marines (led by Captain Gorilla) investigating the area, scaring them away. This incident would be passed down through the generations in the Grand Line.^[1]
