For Captain of the Macro Pirates, see Macro.

Colonel Macro[2] is one of the automata created on Karakuri Island by Dr. Tsukimi. Colonel Macro was first introduced in the cover story of Enel's Great Space Operations.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Macro in the digital colored manga.

Macro wears a full gold plate armor, with the helmet open showing his face. Like other automata he is very short with a round head, round nose, and bushy brown mustache.

Personality[edit | edit source]

He loved his master, Tsukimi, and was very appreciative of Enel beating the Space Pirates. He seems to be loyal to Enel now.

Abilities and Powers[edit | edit source]

Despite his robotic build as an automaton, Macro was no match for the Space Pirates.[3]

Weapons[edit | edit source]

He wields a sword, but it is not known how proficient he is in using it.

Relationships[edit | edit source]

Tsukimi[edit | edit source]

As his master and creator, Tsukimi loved and cared for Macro and the other automata until Tsukimi choked to death.[1][4]

Other Automata[edit | edit source]

He seems to get along with the other automata, and went along with them to the moon.[5]

Enel[edit | edit source]

After the Space Pirates were defeated, Macro along with the other automata and the ones on the moon become loyal soldiers to Enel.[6]

History[edit | edit source]

One day Macro along with other automata and Dr. Tsukimi were watching the moon and eating snacks[1] when suddenly a huge explosion happened on the moon.[7] The explosion was of unknown origin. Tsukimi, shocked, swallowed his dumpling without chewing, resulting in him suffocating to death.[4] After burying the professor, the four automata along with Macro traveled to the moon (each one with a balloon)[5] to take revenge on the one who caused the explosion that resulted in the accidental death of their creator.

Upon reaching the moon, they find the same Space Pirates Eneru will soon face.[8][9] and despite overwhelming odds, they fought the captain of the Space Pirates. In the end, however, Macro, along with three other automata, were defeated.[3][10]

When Spacey tries to thank Enel for defeating the Space Pirates, Enel strikes the automata with lightning.[11] After Enel recharges the lunar city, the automata thank him for reviving them.[12] They then join his army.[6]
