For Ratchet's subordinate from Movie 7, see Maji.

The Maji Maji no Mi is a non-canon Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to use magic-based abilities, making the user a Magic Human (マジック人間, Majikku ningen?). It was eaten by Inchikin.[1]

Etymology

  • "Maji" comes from Majikku, the Japanese pronunciation of "Magic".

Strengths and Weaknesses

One of this fruit's greatest strengths is allowing the user to disappear at will to easily escape from opponents. The user has the powers of magic, the kind used by party magicians, to create illusions and hypnotize others.[1]

The fruit's user is susceptible to standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. No other weaknesses of the fruit are known.

Usage

Inchikin uses his abilities make himself and Justy disappear underneath his cloak. He also hypnotizes his opponents to fall asleep and turn normal bullets into illusion-triggering bullets.[1]

Trivia

  • This fruit is similar to the Suke Suke no Mi in the fact that the user is granted the ability to turn invisible.
  • The fruit is also similar to Marianne's Colors Trap in the fact that the user can hypnotize others with projectiles.
