Meadows participated in a competition at the Corrida Colosseum as a gladiator to compete for the Mera Mera no Mi.[1]

Appearance[]

Meadows Anime Full Body

A full body view of Meadows in the anime.

Meadows is a broad-faced man with a fu manchu mustache. He is seen wearing a spotted feline skin as a hood.

Personality[]

Meadows is rather greedy, having decided to go after the Straw Hat Pirates' bounties instead of helping them like some of the other gladiators did. He later stated that he had been blinded by the money.[3]

However, he is not averse to being humble when he realizes he is wrong, as shown when he apologized to Luffy and promised to defend the Straw Hat from Doflamingo, showing a selfless side.[3]

Abilities and Powers[]

Not much is known about his skills in combat, but he must be confident in his strength as he entered as a contestant at the Corrida Colosseum.

Weapons[]

When confronting Doflamingo, Meadows is seen wearing a weapon with four short, curving claws on his left hand.[3]

In the anime, he wields an axe.[4]

Dressrosa Arc[]

Hakuba Defeats D Block Competitors

Meadows and the rest of D Block is defeated by Hakuba.

Meadows entered the Corrida Colosseum to compete for the Mera Mera no Mi. For the battle royale, he was placed in D Block.[1]

When twenty fighters remained, Cavendish's alter-ego Hakuba suddenly surfaced and proceeded to strike down the remaining fighters in D Block. Meadows fell victim to his attack and laid defeated on the arena floor.[5]

Later, after Donquixote Doflamingo set up the Birdcage and was nearly defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, Meadows joined dozens of other warriors to help hold him off for ten minutes while Luffy's Haki regenerated, apologizing to Luffy for letting Doflamingo trick him.[3]

The gladiators tried attacking Doflamingo, but they were easily defeated.[6] However, they did buy enough time for Luffy to recover, enabling him to defeat Doflamingo and bring down the Birdcage.[7]
