Meryl is a character from One Piece - Big Secret Treasure of the Seven Phantom Islands. She is a citizen of a village that was taken over by the Simon Pirates.
Appearance

Meryl is a slightly-tanned young woman with large brown eyes and short brown hair. She wears a blue, sleeveless shirt and blue shorts. She also wears a fur-lined, horned blue hat and beige sandals.
Personality
Meryl is a very aggressive person, threatening Otsu and starting a fight with the Straw Hat Pirates for interfering. She does seem aware of her aggression and is able to control it in certain situations. She is very appreciative, thanking the Straw Hats Pirates for saving her village. She also thinks Chopper is adorable.
Abilities and Powers
Meryl is quite weak, since she and her subordinates were easily defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates.
Weapons
Meryl has been seen carrying a long staff. She seems fairly skilled in using it.
History
Past
Meryl was present when the Simon Pirates took over her island's village, making it their base of operation.
Big Secret Treasure of the Seven Phantom Islands
Meryl and her subordinates went to the top of the mountain where Otsu lived to threaten him. When they arrived, they discovered Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper were with him. Meryl tried to threaten the old man and pirates, but, after a battle, she and her subordinates retreated to the village.
Later, in the village tavern, Meryl and her subordinates met the Straw Hat Pirates again. When speaking to them, she kept a grudge for being beaten earlier. After the Straw Hat Pirates got the Simon Pirates out of the village, Meryl thanked them.
