The Mondolin virus is a non-canon febrile disease Kureha caught from interacting with a patient. It was later cured by Chopper.[1]
Overview[]
The Mondolin virus causes fever, weakness, sweating, and flushing of the face. It can be treated with a compound of medicines formed into a spherical, green pill.[1]
History[]
Kureha contracted Mondolin after interacting with a sick patient. While lecturing Chopper after he experimented with her medicines, she became weak and fell into a bookshelf. She instructed Chopper to care for her as his first patient. He put her to bed and covered her forehead with a towel while he worked on compounding an antidote. After examining a culture under a microscope, Chopper identified it as the Mondolin virus. He referenced one of Kureha's books and created a pill for Kureha to take. She became well again after consuming it and resting.[1]
