Moqueca was first seen in Pangaea Castle's Socializing Plaza, where he struck a friendship with Manboshi over their preferred music genres.[1]
Moqueca later attended the beginning meeting of the Levely. He was seated between Beer VI and Iwatobi.[2]

Like many of the kings in the Levely, Moqueca's character takes inspiration from a real-world culture. In his case, Brazil.
His name refers to a Brazilian-Angolan dish made out of seafood stew.
He appreciates samba, a Brazilian music genre, which also happens to be the name of his kingdom.
Moqueca's hat resembles those used by performers in the Brazilian Carnival.
