Mr. Kuromaku[2] is a mysterious person, seemingly in control of the world that the Fischer's Pirates were transported into. They are always watching Fischer's actions, and have the ability to manipulate non-Fischer's characters seemingly at will.

He resides in a large server room with at least one other person. The two of them watch Fischer's actions and judge them as entertainment. After Fischer's time on Punk Hazard, Mr. Kuromaku has been supplanted by his coworker, who claimed he could make them perform better.[3]

Appearance[]

Mr. Kuromaku has only been seen silhouetted so far. Very little of their clothes is visible, but they have a humanoid appearance, appearing human.

Personality[]

Little is known about Mr. Kuromaku's personality, but they are interested in the Fischer's crew. While the reason for this interest is unclear, they seem to be responsible for Fischer's transportation, and do not want to help in cases of emergency.[4]

Abilities and Powers[]

The full scope of Mr. Kuromaku's abilities are unknown, but they have seemingly god-like powers over the world that Fischer's is currently in. The entire world is seemingly being powered by hologram-like technology,[5] meant to emulate a pseudo-state of the One Piece world. The state of the world is credited to Mr. Kuromaku, and they have complete surveillance over the entire world.

They seemingly have the ability to control characters at will, making them act in ways they normally wouldn't. Crocodile even notices that he's not acting normally, wondering why he's so much weaker than normal.[2] They are also the self-proclaimed mastermind of Fischer's transporation.[6]

Another ability shown by Mr. Kuromaku is the advancement, or illusion of advancement, of time. They were able to suddenly skip forward in time by two years, spontaneously transforming nearby characters into their later appearances, completely rebuilding the Maying Gorry, and advancing Lip Shark's control over its Devil Fruit ability. This ability, however, is done with some level of awareness from the characters, unlike Mr. Kuromaku's more specific control.[7]

Despite previously manipulating One Piece characters to create a means of communication between themself and the Fischer's crew, Mr. Kuromaku has the ability to speak to them at will, with the effect of their voice seemingly coming out of the sky. Notably, only the Fischer's Pirates members (including Lip Shark) can hear this voice.[8]

Is it also implied that Mr. Kuromaku has control over a second pseudo-world, resembling Tokyo. Through Kuma, they were able to send most of the Fischer's members there, while simultaneously erasing their memories of Silk Road.[4]

History[]

Fischer's x One Piece[]

Mr. Kuromaku is first seen as Silk Road, Ndaho, and Motoki leave Foosha Village, and is excited for them to arrive in Shells Town.[1]

Mr. Kuromaku is first seen watching as the Fischer's Pirates judge a cooking contest on the Baratie, where they correct Zeff's peg leg being on the incorrect leg. They notice that there are a large amount of irregularities in the world, and wonder if they're caused by Fischer's. They look forward to seeing Fischer's approach Arlong Park, and wonder if they will be the first to discover this world's secrets.[5]

Mr. Kuromaku is next seen watching the Fischer's Pirates participate in a Davy Back Fight against Baroque Works. After Fischer's win, Crocodile hands them a Den Den Mushi connected to Mr. Kuromaku,[2] and they inform Fischer's of their existence.[6]

Mr. Kuromaku is seen during Silk Road's execution, wondering how Fischer's will get out of the situation.[4]

When Fischer's was in Tokyo, they met a dwarf capable of traveling between the two worlds, who asked if they truly believe they are back on Earth; however, the dwarf stops themself, stating they are not allowed to say that.[7]

After Fischer's successfully save Silk Road from execution, the world suddenly shifted two years into the future. Silk Road yelled out to Mr. Kuromaku, asking what they were doing, and Mr. Kuromaku told him not to worry, that they were simply speeding up time.[7]

Some time later, the Fischer's crew made it to Punk Hazard, where they battled Caesar Clown and saved the children he was experimenting on. Upon leaving the island, Mr. Kuromaku remarked to his coworker that they found Fischer's were putting on a mediocre performance. After a short discussion, Mr. Kuromaku's coworker took over Mr. Kuromaku's role, stating that he would make sure they put on a better performance.[3]
