Nakaiwa[2] is a man who lived in the Wano Country 41 years ago.[1]
Appearance[]
Nakaiwa is a thin man of average height with a long head, a large chin, and droopy eyes. He wears a top with a tree pattern and a dark vest and scarf, as well as a woven hat.
Personality[]
Nakaiwa is fairly greedy and not very superstitious, being willing to kidnap a white boar for the Kurokoma Family's bounty. He was quite dedicated in this goal, spending an entire year searching for the animal with Oiwa and Koiwa.[1] His greed is strong enough that he is even willing to kidnap bystanders to get paid.[3]
Relationships[]
Tsurujo[]
Nakaiwa was in love with Tsurujo, and frequented the tea house where she worked often. He planned to confess his love for her after receiving the reward money for finding a white boar.[2]
Abilities and Powers[]
Koiwa is quite weak, losing against Kin'emon even with Oiwa and Koiwa on his side.[1]
History[]
Past[]
About forty-two years ago, Nakaiwa, Oiwa, and Koiwa began searching for the legendary white boar, intent on claiming the Kurokoma Family's bounty.
About a year later, they finally managed to find a baby boar, kidnapping it and beginning their return to the Flower Capital. On the way, the trio stopped at Tsurujo's teahouse to eat, where they bragged about having found the boar. However, they were overheard by Kin'emon, who followed them when they left and stole the boar from them.[1]
Intending to steal it back, the three men took Tsurujo hostage and began heading down the mountain. They were soon attacked by the Mountain God, who smelled its baby's scent on them and ate Nakaiwa.[3]
Nakaiwa's status after being eaten is unknown, though many of the people eaten by the Mountain God survived. His status 41 years later is unknown.
Trivia[]
