Netflix is an American online video-on-demand streaming platform owned and operated by Netflix, Inc. Since 2020, it has carried much of the original One Piece anime and has been the exclusive distributor for other One Piece shows.

Netflix first added episodes from the original anime in June 2020 when it picked up the East Blue and Arabasta Sagas. It has steadily picked up more seasons over the years.[1]

Live-Action Series[]

In January 2020, Netflix picked up the first season of the planned live-action adaptation of One Piece. The first season was released in full exclusively on Netflix in August 2023, and Netflix ordered a second season soon afterward.

The One Piece[]

The One Piece is a new anime adaptation of One Piece produced by Wit Studio. Currently in production, it will release exclusively on Netflix starting with the East Blue Saga.

Netflix Nextworld[]

Netflix Nextworld is a collaboration between Netflix and the online gaming platform Roblox, which is currently in open beta. Netflix Nextworld is a virtual theme park with selected licenses from Netflix, which, in addition to One Piece, also include Stranger Things, Cobra Kai and Rebel Moon. The theme park also has a shop where One Piece-related items, such as a stand with Luffy's, Buggy's and Mihawk's hats, can be purchased. The Going Merry is anchored on the shore. In front of her, Luffy can be found and Nami is on board. The only One Piece-related game currently is One Piece: East Blue Brawls.
