Oden Nitoryu is a style based on powerful attacks with two swords. It places particular emphasis on advanced Ryuo.
Oden wanted to teach his swordmanship style to his retainers, but they refused. However, during their battle with Kaido 20 years after Oden's death, in honor of their master, Ashura Doji, Kin'emon, Denjiro, and Inuarashi imitated an Oden Nitoryu technique.[3]

Techniques
Kozuki Oden
Togen Shirataki (桃源白滝,Tōgen Shirataki?, literally meaning "Paradise White Waterfall"): Oden hardens both his swords using Ryuo and then delivers a diagonal slash with each one of them at the same time. This technique has immense power and range, as seen when Oden used the technique to bisect the massive Mountain God.[4] When performing it in the anime, Oden not only imbues his swords' blade, but also their hilts and his own arms.[5]Shirataki is a type of Japanese noodles and a popular ingredient in oden, which follows the oden-themed naming scheme of Oden's techniques. In the VIZ Media translation, this is called Paradise Waterfall.
Gun Modoki (銃・擬鬼,Gan Modoki?, literally meaning "Gun Imitating Demon"): After hardening his swords using Ryuo, Oden crosses his swords and charges forward, slicing anyone in his path. When Oden used this technique, he was able to defeat several members of the Roger Pirates at once.[6] The attack name is a pun on ganmodoki, Japanese fried tofu fritter made with vegetables and a popular side for oden, in keeping with the naming scheme of Oden's techniques. In the VIZ Media translation, this is called Gun Modoki.
Togen Totsuka (桃源十拳,Tōgen Totsuka?, literally meaning "Paradise Ten Hands"): Oden hardens his swords using Ryuo, then leaps toward his opponent, and performs an X-shaped slash powerful enough to give the nigh-invincible Kaido his permanent scar.[7] "Totsuka" is a reference to the four Totsuka-no-Tsurugi mentioned in Japanese mythology, one of them being Ame no Habakiri. In the VIZ Media translation, this is called Paradise Totsuka.
Non-canon
Shimi Daikon (???,Shimi Daikon?, literally meaning "Great Spririt of Samurai"): Oden imbues his swords with an extra amount of Ryuo, then charges the opponent with the swords crossed behind his own head, then uncrosses them in a single motion, eventually unleashing the Ryuo and cutting into them at once. Each sword wears a long ryuo blade extension as a result of this technique. Oden uses this attack only in the anime, to defeat Ashura Doji. The name is a pun on "shimidaikon", daikon cut into slices as ingredients in oden.[8]
Nine Red Scabbards
Togen Totsuka (桃源十拳,Tōgen Totsuka?, literally meaning "Paradise Ten Hands"): One of Kozuki Oden's signature techniques performed by Ashura Doji, Kin'emon, Denjiro, and Inuarashi. Together they are all able to simultaneously slash the same X-shaped scar given to Kaido by Oden 20 years ago drawing copious amount of blood.[3] However, Kaido stated it was significantly less powerful compared to Oden's usage, stating the damage they inflicted was trivial in comparison to Oden, who had successfully inflicted a massive scar on him.
Trivia
According to Wano Country's propaganda, Kurozumi Orochi claimed to have used the Orochi Nitoryu (オロチ二刀流,Orochi Nitōryū?, literally meaning "Orochi Two Swords Style"),[9] to defeat Oden and his retainers. In reality, Orochi never even participated in said battle,[10] and he showed very poor swordsmanship.[11]
