One Piece: Save Your Friends! Dr. Chopper is the ninth installment of Banpresto Chara Medal Island series of medal games, featuring One Piece’s Tony Tony Chopper. It was released in July 2008.[1]

In Save Your Friends! Dr. Chopper, players insert medals to make Chopper appear. Players then use the arcade machine’s buttons to mix medicine. When medicine is mixed successfully, Chopper’s friends’ injuries are cured and the player is rewarded with additional medals. As the number of medals increases, the amount of medicine in each flask and the resulting rewards increase.
Players also have a chance to randomly earn a bonus item. When three bonus items are collected, the player can complete a bonus game where they help Chopper and Luffy fight a Sea King, for a chance to earn many additional medals.
Players can accumulate up to eight medals in one game, the most of any Chara Medal Island game at the time of the game’s release.[1]

- Despite appearing on the game’s title screen, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Sanji and Nico Robin don’t appear in the actual game.
