One Piece: Unlimited Cruise (ワンピース: ワンピースアンリミテッドクルーズ波に揺れる秘宝) is an upcoming video game announced for Nintendo's Wii console based on the popular manga and anime One Piece. The game has been scheduled to be released in two episodes, one which has been released, and the second episode, which will follow up on 26th February 2009.

Characters

Main

The trailer for the game shows that Luffy has a new styled outfit instead of his Unlimited Adventure costume. The recent website for Namco Bandai has shown that Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and Robin have new outfits. But Brook has his canon outfit from the series. It also shows that the Thousand Sunny can be explored, showing many of the rooms inside of it. Each character's new costume features an animal theme. From Zoro's design it was revealed that this game includes his new katana Shuusui.[1]

Costume Themes

All crew members have animal based themed costumes. Early screenshots of Brook showed him dressed in his normal clothers, however Brook was later given his own animal themes costume.

Other Information

In recent screenshots from Gambrion, Brook has the ability to run on water, Franky can build bridges, and Usopp can only become Sogeking through means of a secret attack (Where in Unlimited Adventure, it was an alternate costume) and can use the Impact Dial. Nami also can use the Waver.

Enemies

According to the information released by Famitsu, the Marines and The Enforcers will make an appearance[2]. Wapol, Buggy the Clown, Captain Kuro, Don Krieg [3], Arlong, and Eneru [4] have all been confirmed as Bosses in the game. From the looks of it: Wapol and Buggy will appear in a plant-developed environment, and Eneru appears to be in a clearing in a forest with the Spaceys. Buggy will be able to use his powers obtained from the Bara Bara No Mi and his Super Cannon, Wapol will be able to transform using his Baku Baku Factory. Spandam and Aokiji have been seen in a screen shot together, so they are most likely bosses in the game. From recent screenshots, Some bosses will be partnered up.

Gabriell

An original character, Gabriell (pronunced Gaburi in japanese, Luffy named it as in the beggining of the game all it speak was "Gabu!") has been shown in the latest scan. He was design by Eiichiro Oda and is said to be a "cute demon" with the ability to expand its portions. [5] In part 2, an angle version of Gabriell will replace him in the story line. It appears he will be Unlimited Cruise's answer to Unlimited Adventure's Popora. A screenshot has also confirmed that the game's roster will be split into five categories: Marines and World Government, Pirates, Skypeia characters, Thriller Bark characters, and an unidentified category with a leaf symbol.

Locations

From screenshots from Famitsu scans, and the Namco Bandai page there are 4 different islands in Episode 1; A winter island, a beachy desert island with a seashell, a jungle island with a giant coral reef surrounding it, and an island with a giant tree and waterfalls under it. It also shows that the Thousand Sunny can be explored, showing many of the rooms inside of it. In the tankōbon version of One Piece manga, Oda drew detailed interior design for Thousand Sunny including each piece of furniture and passage ways. From the current preview it seems Unlimited Cruise kept Oda's design down to exact detail down to the patterns on the walls and furniture.

In Episode 2, two locations are known so far: a desert location that looks like Arabasta, and a dark, murky, ruinous place that looks reminiscint of Thriller Bark.
