One Piece Easy Illustration Guide, also called Draw with a ballpoint pen! One Piece Easy Illustration Guide (ボールペンで描ける! ONE PIECEかんたんイラストガイド, Bōrupen de Egakeru! ONE PIECE Kanta n Irasuto Gaido?), is a One Piece-themed illustration guide. It contains over 340 super-deformed illustrations,[2] as well as step-by-step guides for how to draw certain characters.[3]

Contents[]

The book is split into three sections, called Let's draw a character (キャラクターを描いてみよう, Kyarakutā o Kaite Miyou?), Let's try arranging it with illustrations (イラストとアレンジしてみよう, Irasuto to Arenji Shite Miyou?), and A collection of tracing designs (なぞってる図案集, Nazotteru Zuan-shū?).[4][5]

The first section, Let's draw a character, includes step-by-step instructions for how to draw super-deformed versions of various One Piece characters,[6] listed below.[4] The Straw Hat Pirates all get four pages of instructions, while other characters have anywhere from half to two pages.

The second section, Let's try arranging it with illustrations, focuses on using the character drawing skills from the first section on more elaborate scenes involving multiple characters.[6] It also includes a section on background elements, with instructions on how to draw wanted posters, different kinds of text bubbles, the Gomu Gomu no Mi and Mera Mera no Mi, the One Piece logo, the Belly symbol, Nami's tattoo, the Straw Hat Pirates' Jolly Roger, and the DON!! sound effect.

The third section, A collection of tracing designs, includes line art drawn by Mika Fujisawa, for readers to color in and use for various purposes.[6] It includes various themed illustrations, with various themes. A list of the themes can be seen here.[5]
