Onigiri's color scheme.

Onigiri is a small white dog with a large head. He has a black stripe running from his forehead and down his back, making him slightly ressemble a rice ball.

At some point after his adoption, Onigiri began wearing a small black bowtie.[2]

Personality[]

Not much is known about Onigiri's personality, but he seems to be an affectionate animal, clinging to Law as soon as they met.[1] This trait persists after his adoption, with Onigiri waiting at the door for Law to get home from school.[3]

Relationships[]

Trafalgar Law[]

Onigiri was adopted and protected by Law, even at the destruction of Law's operation room.[1]

History[]

One Piece School[]

At some point, Gaimon saved Onigiri from the city, and brought him to New World Middle School. He stayed in Law's operation room with the Straw Hat Pirates, and stayed behind when they got kicked out, clinging to Law. He was fed and protected by Law when the Student Council and teachers attacked the operation room, and ultimately became Law's pet.[1]

Onigiri is later seen going on walks with Trafalgar Law, both on a leash[4] and on Law's shoulder[5]. He seems to spend most of his time with Law, with the two visiting cafes together,[6] or at Law's house, when he's at school.[3]

Trivia[]

  • He resembles and is named after onigiri, Japanese food constisting of bundled rice wrapped in seaweed.
