Peppoko[4] is a member of the Alvida Pirates and the middle[citation needed] triplet brother of Heppoko and Poppoko.[3]

Appearance[]

Peppoko has long blonde hair, blonde eyebrows, and a blonde goatee. He wears an orange shirt with vertical lines on it and a black lining near the chest. In the anime he also wears a light blue headband.

Personality[]

Typical of his thuggish appearance, Peppoko likes to intimidate Koby due to his low status and timid personality. He fears Alvida, and tried to deny slacking off (which she hates) when she found him doing so. He, like the rest of the crew, calls her beautiful simply to avoid her Iron Mace.

Abilities and Powers[]

Peppoko wielded a sword against Luffy that was broken by him.

In One Piece King Battle, Peppoko wields dual pistols and is rather proficient in using them.[5]

Techniques[]

  • Jump Shooting (后跳射击): Peppoko jumps back away from his opponent and shoots three rounds in a row.
  • Upward Rounds (上跃连射): Peppoko jumps towards his opponent and fires at the same time in their direction.
  • Dive Shot (俯跃射击): Peppoko jumps upward and shoots down on his opponents from above.
  • Rain of Gunfire (枪林弹雨): Peppoko shoots a flurry of bullets to damage and surround opponents.

History[]

Romance Dawn Arc[]

Luffy Emerges From Barrel in the Manga

Luffy emerges from the barrel.

Peppoko, along with his crewmates Heppoko, Poppoko and Koby, found Luffy in the barrel he had drifted to their hideout in. The first three intimidated Koby due to his low status as a ship caretaker, and tried to attack Luffy, but were defeated. After that, they reported to Alvida when she attacked them, thinking they were slacking off.

Loguetown Arc[]

Peppoko later reappears with a different color scheme at Loguetown alongside other members of Alvida's crew as a subordinate of Gally. Under orders from Gally, they attempt to raid the port area, but are foiled by Captain Smoker.[6]

Manga and Anime Differences[]

Although Peppoko appeared in the anime along with Heppoko and Poppoko, a miscellaneous crew member replaced Heppoko in the scene when Luffy's barrel was opened.

In the anime, Peppoko later reappears in the Loguetown Arc as a member of Gally's crew.[6]
