Pretzel is the name of Charlotte Cracker's sword.[2] It is a longsword and one of the Meito.[3]

Appearance

A biscuit replica of Pretzel.

Pretzel is a large double-edged sword, being longer than Cracker's height. It has an oblong-shaped hilt and a round guard resembling a biscuit cookie. When Cracker is inside his biscuit armor, he wields replicas of Pretzel made out of biscuit that are much larger, dwarfing average-sized people.[1][4]

Cracker keeps his sword horizontal on his hip when in his normal form;[4] in his biscuit armor, he has only been seen holding it across his shoulders.[1]

Abilities

Pretzel is Cracker's primary attack method, and with his immense strength, Cracker can deal both quick and powerful blows to his opponents, even when they are in close range.[5][6]

In conjunction with his Devil Fruit abilities, Cracker can create an infinite number of Pretzels out of biscuit. These replicas retain the original's sharpness, and are much larger than the original, being able to deal much more powerful blows.[7][6] He also channels Busoshoku Haki into it in order to increase its power.[8]

Attacks

  • Roll Pretzel (ロールプレッツェル Rōru Purettseru?): Imbuing his sword with Busoshoku Haki, Cracker rotates his hand at high speed and stabs at his opponent. It was first used in Cracker's battle against Monkey D. Luffy. This attack is powerful enough to send Luffy flying, spiraling backwards through several trees, even while he protects himself with his own Haki.[8]

  • Honey Pretzel (波動ハニープレッツェル Hanī Purettseru?, kanji reads as "Wave Motion Pretzel"): Cracker, in his true form, jumps at his opponent and thrusts at them, resulting in a powerful shock-wave. It was first used in Cracker's battle against Monkey D. Luffy, but was dodged by the latter.[9]

Anime-Only Attacks

  • Double Roll Pretzel (ダブルロールプレッツェル Daburu Rōru Purettseru?): While still inside his Biscuit Soldier, Cracker makes a duplicate of his arm and sword and uses two Roll Pretzels at the same time to strike his opponent.[10]
  • Crash Pretzel (クラッシュプレッツェル Kurasshu Purettseru?): A stronger version of Honey Pretzel. Cracker charges his sword with sparks and thrusts it at his opponent.[11]

Trivia

  • The sword's name is based on pretzel bread, which matches with the Charlotte Family's food theme.
