The Recycle-Wan has a metallic body with a spiked collar around its neck. Its torso has holes for ventilation and a chimney on its back for exhaust smoke. It is unknown whether it is a cyborg or fully mechanical.[1]

The Recycle-Wan barks like a normal dog and eats litter unprompted.[1] In the anime, it is shown to angrily attack anyone it sees littering instead of disposing their trash properly.
