Rivers was the sniper of the Bellamy Pirates.[2][1]

Appearance[]

Rivers is a tall man with a good physique. He wears a white hat with long ear-flaps, a dark-red V-neck shirt with grey trousers and brown boots.[1]

When he was younger he wore a white cap very similar to the one he would have as an adult and a blue shirt with green spots and white pants.[3]

Personality[]

He feels that Bellamy shouldn't get his hands dirty like people like Luffy, Zoro, and Nami, whom he doesn't consider to be on his level. After Bellamy's defeat, Rivers showed his cowardice, to the point of preventing Sarquiss from facing Luffy and, like the rest, doing nothing when Luffy took all of his captain's gold.[4]

Abilities and Powers[]

As the sniper of the Bellamy pirates, he must be somewhat proficient in using a gun, or another projectile weapon. He also possesses decent physical strength, being able to send Zoro flying with a strong punch, breaking bar tables with his body.

History[]

Past[]

He was born in Notice as were his peers. Growing up, he and the other crew members left the city to become pirates. When they met Doflamingo, the latter gave them the chance to wear his Jolly Roger.[5]

Skypiea Saga[]

Jaya Arc[]

Rivers Beats Zoro

Rivers kicks Zoro into a table.

Rivers first appears in the hotel where the Bellamy Pirates had stationed themselves, silently standing as his crewmates talk about the Straw Hat Pirates and how they are inferior to Bellamy and Sarquiss. When Bellamy confronts Luffy at the Pub, Rivers is present with his other crewmates. After the crew has had their fill of ridiculing and beating up the obstinate Luffy and Zoro, Bellamy orders Rivers and Ross to throw the "garbage" outside, as they are taking up too much of their space. The two comply swiftly, kicking Zoro through a table and smashing Luffy's face into one of the pub's windows, severely injuring the both of them.

Rivers was later seen when the Bellamy pirates were informed of Luffy and Roronoa Zoro's wanted posters, and in the manga, it was he who stopped Sarquiss from going after Luffy and not Eddy.[6]

Water 7 Saga[]

Long Ring Long Land Arc[]

He was also present when Doflamingo provoked the fight between Sarquiss and Bellamy as punishment for being defeated.[7]

Later Events[]

After Bellamy was punished by Doflamingo, Rivers would travel with the Bellamy Pirates to a Sky Island. It is unknown what became of Rivers and the rest of the Bellamy Pirates when their captain forfeited his captaincy to join the Donquixote Pirates.[8]
