One Piece Wiki

The Rocky Port is a large passenger ship formerly of a certain country that was involved in the Rocky Port Incident.[1]

History[]

During the Timeskip[]

The ship was mistakenly hijacked by Trafalgar Law, who had learned of a Poneglyph on Hachinosu. He rode the ship to the island, getting into conflict with pirates on the way and prompting Blackbeard and Koby to intervene, triggering the Rocky Port Incident.[1]

During the battle, the Rocky Port sustained significant damages.[2]

Final Saga[]

Egghead Arc[]

Since the Rocky Port Incident, the Blackbeard Pirates appear to have claimed the Rocky Port for themselves. They repaired it from the damages it sustained, have only recently finished, and the ship remains on Hachinosu.[2]

Trivia[]

  • When "Rocky Port" was mentioned by Avalo Pizarro and Marshall D. Teach in the story, the Japanese dialogue lacked the suffix (?), which is attached to the names of vessels, making it sound like a location rather than a ship.[2][3] The suffix was only used when Oda explained the Rocky Port Incident in his 10-question Q&A.[1]
