SSG

The Special Science Group (特殊科学班, Tokushu Kagaku-han^?, VIZ Media: Special Science Team), SSG for short, is a team and project of the same name led by Vegapunk of the Marines' science unit. Its purpose is to replace the Shichibukai system as part of the Three Great Powers. Both Fujitora and Brannew hoped that the project will come out a success to aid the Marines against the pirates.

Abilities and Powers

Their strength is currently a mystery as they have yet to take action, though since they were created to replace the Shichibukai and hopefully compete with the Yonko, it can be assumed that it is formidable.

History

After the most recent Levely, the Shichibukai were abolished due to the majority vote of the rulers affiliated with the World Government, and the SSG was established in order to replace them.^[1]
