Sakura (Hiragana: さくら; Katakana: サクラ) are ornamental cherry trees and with pink blossoms.

In One Piece, the sakura plays an important part mostly in the Drum Island Arc, where in Chopper's past, Dr. Hiriluk tried to make sakura bloom in the snow.[1] It eventually did, although he did not live to see it happen.[2] Sakura is usually used for the names of Chopper's attacks.[3] Sakura was also found on Momoiro Island[4] and Merveille,[5] as well as on the island where Whitebeard and Roger discussed the Will of D. before the latter's death.[6]
