Sanoku ThanX Project China Daily Ad

One Piece celebrated in China Daily.

The One Piece Sanoku ThanX was a celebratory project held by Shueisha in 2013 in honor of the manga having sold 300 million copies. The project consisted of a special advertising campaign that ran in almost every major newspaper all over Japan, as well as in the New York Times and China Daily. Each of the 47 prefectures received their own special One Piece ad, showing off products or goods representative of each region along with characters from the manga.[1]
