Shibuya "Wano Country" Plan: Gathering Comrades, and the Great Battle of Shibuya against Emperor "Kaidou of the Beasts" is an event that celebrated the 20th anniversary of the One Piece anime. It took place in the Shibuya district of Tokyo in December 2019.

The event was a "digitally interlocking event" where participants used their smart phones to access various content. Different areas of Shibuya corresponded with different regions of Wano Country and included various posters with QR codes. A participant could then use their smart phone to scan the codes while touring Shibuya.

Location-Linked Events

Using the smart phone's location information, the participant could trigger events where they encounter certain characters. By clearing the event, the character joined the player's "main story" party.

By scanning QR codes from posters distributed across Shibuya, the participant could collect various characters into the "side story" collection. A total of 100 character posters could be found.

On the final day of the event, December 29, a battle with Kaidou took place. This battle lasted around 10 minutes, and participants could damage Kaidou using the special move tweet button. This event was also available to those who had not taken part in the location and poster-based content.

After battling with Kaidou, a form would be prompted and participants could write down their nicknames. Several of the nicknames would then undergo a lottery process and be publically revealed during the anime broadcast somewhere in 2020. The names were published during the eyecatchers of the episodes 927–931, with an brand-new set of eyecatchers. They were exclusive to the Japanese TV broadcast; digital and international broadcast used the previous set of eyecatchers.
