Shueisha Jump Remix (集英社ジャンプリミックス,Shueisha Janpu Rimikkusu?), or SJR for short, is a Shueisha label that publishes volume compilations of popular manga series, particularly those serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It is similar to the Complete Collection format as it is intended to provide an affordable and easy way to catch up on long-running series.
For the 20th anniversary of Jump Remix in 2021, Eiichiro Oda designed a new mascot character for the label and a remix publication of One Piece is being produced.
Shueisha Jump Remix volumes contain roughly two and a half times as much content as regular tankōbon volumes, while keeping the price nearly the same. The paper size matches that of the tankōbon and color pages are similarly reduced to grayscale. This is in contrast to the Complete Collection format, where the paper size matches the larger Shonen Jump and color is retained. The paper quality of the SJR volumes is only slightly lower than that of the tankōbon volumes.
An orca mascot character called Shachix (シャチックス,Shachikkusu?, portmanteau of "shachi" [orca] and "remix") was designed by Oda for the 20th anniversary. The character will be featured on the covers of all future SJR releases.
