For the person she was cloned from, see Buckingham Stussy.

Stussy is MADS' first-ever successful clone, having been modeled after Miss Buckingham Stussy.[3] She is a spy in the employ of Dr. Vegapunk who spent years working deeply undercover in the World Government until she was forced to discard her cover.[6]

While acting as an agent of CP0,[2] she operated as an emperor of the Underworld under the epithet "Queen of the Pleasure District".[1]

Initially, she was a minor antagonist of the Egghead Arc, but later became a major ally to Vegapunk and the Straw Hat Pirates when her background and true allegiance were revealed.

Appearance[]

Being a clone of Buckingham Stussy, Stussy is identical to the original when she was a young woman.[3]

Stussy appears younger than her actual age, with short curly blonde hair, blue eyes, red lipstick, and red-painted fingernails. She has a thin and slightly curved body and large breasts.

As an agent of CP0, she wears a uniform consisting of a white dress with a pink necktie, white matching cape and gloves. She also dons fishnet stockings with fluffy rims and a garter belt.[7] While on duty, she sometimes wears a mask in the form of a hood that covers her head, resembling an owl.[8]

When she attended the recent Tea Party as an emperor of the Underworld, she wore a salmon colored dress with a purple end, with pink diamond patterns on the bottom, a small white cape, a sunhat with a flower on it, and high heel shoes with ribbons on top. She also carried a pink handbag with her.[1]

After betraying CP0 during the Egghead Arc, Stussy is shown wearing a bright colored leotard bodysuit, dark colored jacket with a hood, along with gloves, an earpiece and DOM Shoes.

Personality[]

Stussy's True Nature

Stussy shows her ruthless nature after shooting Lu Feld.

In her Underworld persona, Stussy acted polite and disapproved of insults being thrown around, in contrast to her occasionally more hostile fellow emperors.[1] However, she was sensitive about her age and would get violent if it was brought up.[9] She sometimes spoke in a flirty tone.

Stussy does however possess a ruthless side, shown when she shot down Lu Feld, even stating she will have him take the blame for her actions and threatened an eavesdropping Morgans into creating a fake story in order to cover up her and the World Government's actions.[2] She also shows a certain level of caution when she agreed to Kaku's suggestion that they cannot fight one of the Four Emperors without being granted permission from the World Government.[10] Stussy has been shown to be quite practical when it comes to fighting, as she prefers to incapacitate her enemies at once rather than fight them in an outright battle, as shown when she incapacitated Kaku and Lucci. She seems to be accurate judge of strength, admitting that fighting them fairly would have been a stupid decision.[11]

Stussy does have a nicer side to herself when she is not undercover. She expressed sympathy for Kuma’s situation, considering it terrible that he was going to lose his free will. She also found Kuma's love for his daughter very sweet. During this conversion, Stussy showed she has some problems with her existence as a clone with a will of her own.[12]

Relationships[]

Charlotte Linlin[]

Stussy seems to be on good terms with Big Mom, whom she addresses casually as "Linlin".[13] However, since her status as a CP0 agent has come to light, it appears Stussy was just using Big Mom to obtain the Tamatebako and even used Lu Feld as a scapegoat to cover her tracks. While Stussy was partly responsible for the destruction of the Whole Cake Chateau,[2] she managed to pin all the blame on the Straw Hat Pirates by telling Linlin's subordinates that the Tamatebako, a gift from the Straw Hats, held explosives.[14]

Morgans[]

Morgans and Stussy have apparently helped each other several times in the past. As both hold privileged positions for information gathering, the two have been exchanging precious intel for some time so that Morgans can obtain exclusive scoops while Stussy gets access to all of the World Economy News Paper's reports and information. Morgans accepted to cover up her involvement in Big Mom's Tea Party[2] and allowed her to take a ride in his balloon in order to sneak away from Totto Land.[15]

Vegapunk[]

Due to being the first successful clone created by MADS, Stussy has a long history with Dr. Vegapunk. Despite Stussy being a clone, Vegapunk considers her a human. The two seem to be on good terms with one another and Stussy seems to respect the doctor and his satellites and is loyal to them, to the point that she offered her services as a mole, and later openly betrayed her fellow CP0 agents, even after 20 years of service in Cipher Pol. One of Vegapunk's satellites, Shaka, stated to the Straw Hats that even though it was never their intention to have her as their mole, her loyalty to them was helpful in taking Rob Lucci by surprise, and ultimately stopping CP0's attack on Egghead. Stussy was even willing to sacrifice her well being to protect Vegapunk from a surprise attack by Lucci.

Abilities and Powers[]

As a successful clone of a former member of the legendary and formidable Rocks Pirates, Stussy likely shares the same physical power and skills of the original Stussy.[3] Being a former masked agent of CP0, the strongest and most exclusive of the Cipher Pols, her abilities are highly recognize by the World Government.

Stussy's Transformation

Stussy growing wings.

Stussy possesses the ability to generate bat-like wings from her back and can suck blood from people by biting into their skin, akin to a vampire; she can quickly incapacitate people whose blood she sucks by putting them to sleep. She can even incapacitate powerful assassins like Rob Lucci and Kaku, the latter in his awakened form. The source of this ability is currently unknown.[3]

Stussy also possesses considerable willpower, as she was able to withstand a Haoshoku Haki blast from Big Mom.[16]

Spying and Espionage[]

Stussy is a master spy with incredible infiltration skills, being a former secret agent of CP0. She was able to climb the ranks of the Underworld until becoming one of its emperors. As such, Stussy has some degree of power over it, and she is important enough to be invited to the Emperor Big Mom's tea parties.[1] Furthermore, Stussy was Dr. Vegapunk's spy in Cipher Pol for 20 years without being detected.

She was also instinctive enough to notice Morgans eavesdropping on her.[2]

Physical Abilities[]

Being a former agent of CP0, the strongest Cipher Pol unit, Stussy possesses superior superhuman strength. With a single finger thrust, she can produce a concentrated shockwave powerful enough to pierce Lu Feld, a large man, from a considerable distance, knocking him unconscious.[2]

Stussy is also extremely fast, and was fast enough to leave an afterimage even Lucci could not react to.[17]

Rokushiki[]

As a former agent of Cipher Pol, Stussy has fully mastered the Rokushiki martial arts.[4] Being part of the Masked Assassins of CP0, her mastery is likely higher than most agents. She can use Tobu Shigan, a more powerful variation of Shigan, to pierce others from a distance,[2] and was also shown using Geppo to escape the collapsing Whole Cake Chateau.[18]

Stussy can also use a variation of Kami-e to dodge at high speed, leaving an afterimage behind her. Her usage of this technique was fast enough to even fool a Rokushiki master of Rob Lucci's caliber.[17]

History[]

Past[]

Stussy was created at MADS, being a clone of Buckingham Stussy and the first known successful clone.[3]

At some point in her life, Stussy joined the organization known as Cipher Pol and eventually became an agent of CP0. She was later assigned an undercover role as one of the emperors of the Underworld,[2] and has maintained both positions for at least 20 years.[6]

Around 3 years before the current storyline, Stussy visited Egghead.[19] During this time, she personally met the Warlord Bartholomew Kuma and saw how much Dr. Vegapunk had transformed Egghead.[20]

Due to her cover, Stussy was invited to Big Mom's Tea Party, where Charlotte Pudding would be married to Sanji.[1]

Whole Cake Island Saga[]

Whole Cake Island Arc[]

Tea Party Infobox

Stussy takes part in the Tea Party festivities.

Stussy and some of the other emperors arrived on Whole Cake Island, where she expressed disapproval when Lu Feld and Drug Peclo started insulting each other. They were escorted to the banquet hall by Charlotte Perospero on a candy escalator, and in the banquet hall, Stussy drank juices wrung out of a giraffe by Charlotte Smoothie before the tea party began.[21]

Later on, Stussy and the other emperors of the Underworld offered their gifts to Big Mom, who was overjoyed by the amount. Big Mom then told them of the Tamatebako, which she would open after the ceremony alongside the other gifts. Stussy and the other guests looked forward to the event with excitement.[13] After Sanji and Pudding entered the venue, Stussy commented on how Pudding reminded her of her younger days. Lu Feld then asked Stussy of her age and she responded by hitting him.[9] Moments after Monkey D. Luffy and his group started causing chaos at the wedding venue, Luffy caused Big Mom to start her Haoshoku Haki-infused scream and Stussy was immobilized and forced to cover her ears.[16]

Stussy Shoots Lu Feld

Stussy shoots Lu Feld to take the Tamatebako for herself.

Right after Lu Feld spotted the Tamatebako on the edge of a lower platform, Stussy confronted him and questioned him on his intentions. Lu Feld then slipped and fell to the where the chest was. Before he could open it, Stussy shot him with a Tobu Shigan. While she made sure that an eavesdropping Morgans would blame Lu Feld for the theft of the chest, Lu Feld's unconscious body leaned on the chest, causing it to fall.[2] Stussy and Morgans both watched in shock as the chest dropped to the base of the Whole Cake Chateau and exploded.[22] As the castle collapsed, Stussy used Geppo to remain in the air and agreed with Morgans' statement that it would be huge news if this was the end of the Big Mom Pirates.[18]

Stussy and Morgans Meet the Big Mom Pirates

Stussy and Morgans meet with Mont-d'Or and Niwatori.

Hours after the collapse of the Whole Cake Chateau, Stussy and Morgans met with Mont-d'Or and Count Niwatori, and she revealed that the explosion that caused the castle to collapse came from the Tamatebako.[14] When Mont-d'Or promised Morgans that the Big Mom Pirates would execute the Straw Hat Pirates and put their heads on display, Stussy commented on how vulgar their intentions were.[23] As the chaos in Totto Land further intensified, Stussy and Morgans snuck away from Whole Cake Island.[24] While they were riding in a balloon, Morgans was cheering for the Straw Hats to escape, prompting Stussy to comment that he was taking their side.[15]

Levely Arc[]

Following the events in Totto Land, Stussy made her way to Mary Geoise. As Charlos tried to enslave Shirahoshi prior to the Levely, Stussy was present alongside Rob Lucci, Kaku, and Gismonda guarding the World Noble. After Donquixote Mjosgard's intervention, Stussy and the rest of CP0 left as ordered.[7]

Egghead Arc[]

CP0 Mission

CP0 en route to Egghead.

Lucci, Kaku, and Stussy received a mission to return S-Bear to Egghead and eliminate Vegapunk and his six satellites without damaging his inventions,[8] after which they would await the arrival of Admiral Kizaru.[28] As they sailed to the island, Stussy heard Kaku explain to Lucci why Vegapunk had divided his mind into six individuals. However, Lucci said that he considered this impossible and that geniuses were a pain; following their discussion, he elaborated on the purpose of their mission. After Lucci wondered about a connection between Vegapunk's assassination and the destruction of the Lulusia Kingdom, Stussy advised him not to get involved.[8]

When they reached the shores of Egghead, the agents destroyed one of the Sea Beast Weapons.[29] Pythagoras then contacted the agents and thanked them for returning S-Bear, before asking them to leave, as the Seraphim could return alone. However, when Lucci asked Pythagoras about the disappearances of the CP5, CP7, and CP8 agents sent to Egghead, Lilith interrupted by threatening them. In response, Lucci ended the conversation and ordered everyone to abandon ship, expecting it to be destroyed by the Sea Beast Weapons.

With their mission underway, the agents then used S-Bear's powers to reach the island. When they arrived on the island, panic quickly spread around them. After a mechanical dragon approached them, Kaku attempted to attack it, but Stussy told him that it was just a hologram, prompting annoyance from Kaku for not telling him sooner. Following Lucci pointing out that she seems to know a lot about Egghead, Stussy responded that she was nostalgic being back on the island. As they talked, Kaku attempted to fly up to the Labophase; Stussy informed Lucci of the protective grid around it as Kaku was attacked by it, prompting more annoyance from the agent.

At that moment, Atlas angrily ran towards them, and Stussy recognized her as one of Vegapunk's satellites. She watched as Lucci easily defeated the satellite. Luffy and some of the Straw Hats then ran into the agents.[30] Kaku warned Lucci not to attack Luffy since Luffy was now an Emperor so they would need permission from higher authorities to engage him. Stussy agreed because the slightest confrontation with an Emperor could lead to a war, so she ordered some agents to contact the Marines. However, Lucci ended up confronting Luffy, because the latter was upset by what he did to Atlas.

S-Bear using Beams

S-Bear attacks CP0

Suddenly, Sentomaru arrived with three more Seraphim: S-Hawk, S-Snake, and S-Shark. When Kaku ordered S-Bear to destroy one of them, Stussy pointed out that they are at a disadvantage, due to having less authority compared to Vegapunk's bodyguard. Sentomaru had the Seraphim attack the government agents. However, Lucci incapacitated Sentomaru, which gave them control of the Seraphim.[31] Stussy and Kaku watched as Lucci and Luffy resumed their fight. At the same time, when the Seraphim decimated many agents, Stussy commented on how strong they were even though they were still children.

CP0 Command Seraphim

CP0 with command over the Seraphim and ready to invade the Labophase.

Later, when Lucci recovered from his defeat against Luffy, she told him that they had to wait for the marines as ordered. However, Lucci responded that all the targets would have already escaped, so the CP0 agents, along with the Seraphim under their command, prepared to continue their mission.[32] When Lucci was wondering how to get past the Frontier Dome, Stussy asked him if he was serious about ignoring the Marines, which Lucci confirmed, saying that he does not recognize Luffy as an Emperor.

Shortly after, Vegapunk contacted her, asking her to help him escape. Stussy accepted the request, replying that she was waiting for his orders. Suddenly, the Frontier Dome was disabled, so Kaku told them it was their chance to attack. Although both Lucci and Stussy found it strange that it was now deactivated, believing it to be a trap, the three of them headed there using Geppo. When Stussy noticed the Thousand Sunny, Lucci ordered it to be destroyed. However, Kaku's attempt to do so was stopped by Roronoa Zoro.[33] Just then the Seraphim joined them despite having been given no order by CP0. During Kaku's fight against Zoro, Stussy bit Kaku's neck, putting him to sleep. When Lucci noticed this, he asked her in bewilderment what she was doing, so she stated that she only put him to sleep, expressing the intention of putting him to sleep as well.[34]

Stussy Attacks Lucci

Stussy subdues Lucci.

Lucci then attacked her with a Shigan but she dodged it. After taunting him, Stussy then nullified his powers with a piece of Seastone before biting his neck, making him faint as well. She admitted that Lucci and Kaku were too strong fore her to fight directly. She then contacted Vegapunk and confirmed that she had taken care of both agents. However, she pointed out that she could not stop the Seraphim from attacking the Labophase since her authority was the same as Lucci's, but Edison informed him not to worry about that. After the latter succeeded in ordering the Seraphim to stop, Stussy informed Vegapunk that she had bound Lucci and Kaku with Seastone. Vegapunk invited her to leave Egghead with him and the Straw Hats, to which she agreed.[35]

Later, Stussy, Zoro, and Brook put on new outfits and joined the rest of the satellites as well as the Straw Hats in the control room of the Labophase. When Stussy asked about Stella, Shaka informed everyone about the situation: Vegapunk's main body had disappeared and the Frontier Dome was no longer responding to commands, so the group was trapped in the laboratory. Worried about Vegapunk, Stussy joined the search for the scientist, and Sanji asked her to take him with her.[36]

She accompanied Jinbe and Sanji to the second floor of Building B, where the latter flirted with her, to which Stussy simply asked him to continue searching for Vegapunk. When Jinbe commented on how big the place really was, she explained that weapons were developed there, so there was no need to break anything.[37] Once the Seraphim began attacking the Satellites and pirates, Sanji ran off to protect Nami.[38] Stussy called Sentomaru on a Den Den Mushi and informed him that Admiral Kizaru was heading to Egghead as part of the mission CP0 had. When Sentomaru noticed how seriously the World Government was taking him, Stussy told him that it was worse than Ohara's, since Vegapunk continued Ohara's forbidden research, in addition to Egghead's military power that Ohara did not have. After Sentomaru said that those reasons were enough, Stussy told him to contact her by Den Den Mushi since Labophase's communications systems were destroyed.[39]

Stussy Saves Vegapunk

Stussy saves Vegapunk.

After Vegapunk was found and York was revealed as the culprit and was captured, Stussy reunited with the others in the Labophase. She enumerated to Vegapunk the marine forces surrounding the island, while Sanji offered her a cup of tea. She then realized that Lucci was looking at her, so she asked him not to.[40] When Kizaru arrived at the Labophase, Stussy noticed when Lucci tried to kill Vegapunk, so she jumped in front of the scientist, taking the full force of Lucci's Shigan in his place, falling to the ground spitting blood.[41]
