Susaburo[2] was the second generation Wind Colossus (風の巨像の, Kaze no Kyozō?) on Waford. As one of the Colossi, it maintained the barrier around the Tower of Heaven.
It is a secondary antagonist of One Piece Odyssey.
Appearance[]
Susaburo was a statuesque being that appears to be mainly made of stone, with a near featureless face that is half black and half white. Its appendages and head glowed green, and it wielded a spear.
Abilities and Powers[]
Susaburo wielded the Divine Breath's element of lightning. It had extreme durability, being able to take powerful hits before being defeated.
Techniques[]
- Senjin no Shinri (旋刃の真理, Senjin no Shinri?, literally meaning "Truth of the Whirling Blade"): Susaburo lifts its spear before stamping it into the ground. The stamp generates a small tornado underneath the opponent, cutting them. This attack is localized as Bladed Truth.
- Crushing Chaos King (砕駆・乱王?): Susaburo raises its arms, generating a massive tornado around itself. The tornado quickly expands outwards, surrounding the opponents.
- Bofu no Senjin (暴風の旋刃, Bōfū no Senjin?, literally meaning "Storm Blade"): A ball of wind appears in front of Susaburo's chest, before shooting it out in a beam ahead of it. The beam points towards the ground in front of the Colossus and gradually gets further, creating a line across the ground and cutting anybody is passes with sharp winds. This attack is localized as Storm Helix Blade.
History[]
Past[]
Susaburo was created after the first Wind Colossus was decommissioned, and was designed to be weaker to avoid potential rampages. It, along with the other second generation Colossi, were the first to be completely stable.
After it's creation, it was named so as not to be confused with the first generation Wind Colossus.[2]
When Waford fell to the Blue Sea, the four second generation Colossi were each inside of their respective ruins. Due to this, Susaburo remained inside the Dust Ruins for the next 200 years.
One Piece Odyssey[]
After returning from the Arabasta Kingdom Memoria, the Straw Hats explored the Dust Ruins and found Susaburo on the bottom floor. They quickly challenged it, and with help from Adio, were able to defeat it. Like the Thunder Colossus, a multitude of the Straw Hats' ability cubes flew out.
Major Battles[]
- Susaburo vs. Straw Hat Pirates and Adio Suerte
