Syrup Village is the birthplace of Usopp, and is a peaceful area. The village is located on the Gecko Islands. There are two slopes on either side of the island that provide the only ways to enter the village, due to the fact that there are high cliffs bordering the rest. This is the main location of the Syrup Village Arc.

Meshi

Meshi is the name of the restaurant in which Luffy, Zoro and Nami get to know Usopp a lot better. Luffy appreciates the food in the restaurant. Meshi means "food" or "meals" in Japanese. The restaurant first appeared on Chapter 23 and Episode 9.

Kaya's Mansion

Kaya's Mansion

Kaya's Mansion

Kaya's Mansion is the house in which Kaya and her servant, Merry lives. It used to belong to Kaya's father, but since her parents died, she inherited the whole mansion and fortune. It is guarded by the Mansion's Guards, though they may neglect their duties for lunch breaks. Usopp usually visits Kaya by sneaking in, until he left to become a true pirate. Kuro intended to take it by killing Kaya and manipulating her to sign a will for him to inherit it, but he was defeated by Luffy, and thrown off the island. During the Black Cat Pirates' attempt to attack Syrup Village, most the mansion's employees went on vacation, leaving only Kuro and Merry, thus most of them unaware of the reason regarding the former's sudden departure, nor being able to help the latter from Kuro's bloodthirsty attack. The mansion first appeared on Chapter 23 and Episode 9. A mansion that looked similar also exists in Little East Blue.

Trivia

  • Before the timeskip, the people of the Syrup Village (besides Kaya and the former Usopp Pirates) did not believe that it was Usopp on the Sogeking bounty poster, due to it not actually depicting him.
    • After the timeskip, it is unknown what the village's reaction is to Usopp's new bounty poster, now that it is actually depicting him and that Usopp's name is now actually in front of it.
