King Taco is the leader of the Shishano Kingdom, or Kingdom of the Dead.[1] King Taco is based on Mexican food, culture, history, and politics.

Appearance and Thematic Inspiration

Taco is an older man with a long, oval-shaped face. He has a very large taco-shaped mustache that curves downward, and his hair is gathered into a ponytail. Taco wears a serape with a detailed pattern on it as well as a sombrero with a small cactus in the center.[1]

Taco's persona seems to be inspired from Mexican Revolutionary Emiliano Zapata, who he quoted his debut (“Better to die standing than live kneeling!”) The famous quote values pride in the face of foreign and counterrevolutionary interference in Mexican affairs.[1]

Abilities and Powers

As king of the Shishano Kingdom, Taco has control over its citizens and is able to attend the Reverie.[1]

History
