I'm guessing it's how he was addressed. And Bacura is more of a boy's name, see Yugioh.21:55, April 20, 2012 (UTC)
This needs a bump, because if this character is male, it throws a wrench is the whole thing I'm doing right now, which is removing the "Female Characters" category from all of the Kuja Pirates, because that's already a subcategory of Females. Also, it'd be nice trivia if he was the only male character known to reside on Amazon Lily. Talk | 05:11, January 22, 2015 (UTC)
Well, since it seems Salome's gender is unknown, we should probably remove Kuja as a subcategory of female characters. But it would be nice to provide a possible source for Bacura's and any other Kuja pet's gender. Talk | 05:17, January 22, 2015 (UTC)
If gender is unknown, change he to it in the page. That's how we have most animals, right?

It's probably better to do it that way. From what little I know of Japanese, third person pronouns are usually gender neutral so there's no way to know. 06:14, January 24, 2015 (UTC)
Alright. Any objections, or shall we close this?
