Dunno where they're named, but in french "Dessin" and "Croquis" mean drawing and croquis respectively, so if there's a theme, "Dessin" might be a better translation than Desan.--Loiciol (talk) 16:23, September 27, 2020 (UTC)

They're named in the film's credits. "Desan" more closely matches the original Japanese, but "Dessin" is the character's English name according to Funimation. I agree that the names seem like a reference to croquis drawings, which goes along with the fact that their voice actors are models for a men's fashion magazine.Montblanc Noland :: Talk 17:00, September 27, 2020 (UTC)

The Japanese people do use "dessin" on common situations (as common as museums and drawings can be, that is). The official spelling is デッサン, but a Google search showed me that they do use the デサン spelling as well.

Considering we went for "Croquis" and not "Kurokki", I see little reasoning to adapt one name but not the other. Jessica Ilha (talk) 01:13, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
