Time in East Blue Edit
This might sound a bit redundant on my part, but was it ever stated how long the Germa Kingdom was in the East Blue? I know they were their at least eleven years before canon, but not an end date.--Observer Supreme 04:30, January 1, 2017 (UTC)
66 days Edit
The article states that Germa held the north blue for 66 days. I believe that's a misunderstanding, the 66 days is the time it took Judge to make the deal with Big Mon and thus hoping to restore the ancient power of Germa. This is the page: Judge says that their dreams are dust just after 66 days of hope, it talks about the ancient glory of Germa after that. The 66 days are not related to their ancient glory. In fact, Jaimini's version is much more clear. Just think about it: an empire that lasted 66 days is quite ridiculous.
Viz: "But our dream has already ended! In the wake of a dream of just 66 days, our ancestors were left as wandering ghosts unable to set foot on their homeland! And now I have disgraced their memory! To think that I entrusted you with the soul of three centuries of longing...I despise myself!" Awaikage Talk 17:32, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
Do you have a raw of that page? I can ask someone to take a look.
Cnet: "After living our dream for a mere 66 days…we were reduced to wandering spirits, never again able to stand on our homeland’s soil!" Don't see how Judge can be talking about himself here, since he's clearly referring to physical territory i.e. the North Blue. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 19:13, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
It appears that they lost their land-based territory after 66 days of some ideal "dream" state. This probably refers to controlling the entire East Blue. We do not know either way if the land-based Germa Kingdom only lasted 66 days, or if the Germa "empire" completely collapsed after reaching its maximum size for 66 days.--Sandwichman2449 (talk) 21:22, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
I asked someone from the IVT and it's as you guys said. Although it was not clearly stated, Japanese readers assume the former germa empire lasted 66 days. Apparently Judge speech was also a reference to a famous haiku (short poem) by MATSUO Bashō: 夏草や兵どもが 夢の跡 (The summer grass- It is all that's left of ancient warriors dreams). Maybe that would be a nice trivia for Chapter 871? Anyway, if someone else wants to take a second look, here's the raw.
Didn’t the Vivre Card offer this as the name of the Snail Ships, or something else?Awareness Bringer 11:47, December 6, 2019 (UTC)
