Oda writing something does not mean it is canon. He can have fun writing stuff that does not fit in the storyline. It is canon if, and only if, he states so. sff9 19:29, January 21, 2013
I dont understand why people oppose so much Z's canonicity. Why not assume that it is canon unless he states that it is not? I think that Oda knows better than to write random non-canon stuff, especially when we are talking about a character with such an interesting background story.
