Name Meaning[]
Does the name "Nonosama" even have a proper meaning? I mean, "sama" is a suffix for "lord", "master", etc., but "Nono" doesn't really have a literal meaning, so how does it end up as "Sacred Thing"? Yata Talk to me 06:24, July 18, 2011 (UTC)

When you say baby-word, do you mean like someone saying choo-choo instead of train or locomotive? Sama would be an honorific, so it would basically refer to the respect owed or deserved by God as well as the higher status that would come with sama. Basis of the weapon[]
I'm rather surprised nobody's mentioned this. The Nonosama Bo seems to be based on the Nyoi Bo (or Ruyi Jingu Bang), the staff of Sun Wukong from The Journey to the West. It was a magical staff capable of changing in length, and I don't think there's any other fictional staff out there that can do that.
