Ace isn't a navigator just because he has a log pose. It operates like a GPS. Actual navigation is much more than that. SeaTerror (talk) 06:57, March 17, 2019 (UTC)

A Log Pose is not like a GPS. A GPS is a computer. A Log Pose uses magnetic fields like a compass.

Definition of navigator: a person who directs the route or course of a ship, aircraft, or other form of transportation, especially by using instruments and maps. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 12:04, March 17, 2019 (UTC)

They follow the log pose like a GPS which isn't real navigation. SeaTerror (talk) 07:20, March 18, 2019 (UTC)

The Log Pose doesn't speak to them telling them which direction to go. I fail to see how this in any way resembles a GPS. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 16:21, March 18, 2019 (UTC)

The log pose points to the correct direction no matter where you are. Remove that and Ace wouldn't be able to go anywhere without being lost. Nami used actual navigation when that happened such as being able to tell the weather difference when near islands. SeaTerror (talk) 19:09, March 18, 2019 (UTC)

Nami can't navigate between islands without a Log Pose either. Nobody can in the Grand Line. Being able to sense the weather doesn't make you a navigator - being able to navigate from one place to another does. And Ace can do it by himself. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 19:34, March 18, 2019 (UTC)

What Kaido said. You don't have to be good to be a navigator, just able to follow directions. When you drive to a place you've never been you're navigating by your GPS. That doesn't mean you aren't navigating.
