Actually, Raki does not come from how the japanese pronouce "lucky", but rather an inverse of this concept. The japanese pronounce their "R's" as "L's". Thus: Raki is pronounced "Laki" which sounds just like "lucky" in english.

That's the complete opposite of how the Japanese language works. The only time they pronounce R's as L's is when they are trained to. Such as a seiyuu saying "Luffy" instead of "Rufi" SeaTerror (talk) 10:14, August 4, 2019 (UTC)
