Name Edit

Is there any actual reason to use the "Mr." honorific in the article name? We don't do it for any other character. Awaikage Talk 22:41, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

It was spelled out in English in the Shonen Jump Issue he debuted in [1] Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 22:53, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

We don't do it for Sadi-Chan (although personally I think we should) so I guess we shouldn't bother here. I just feel like if he's never refered to as "Tanaka" on his own, why can we not assume that's his Franky vs Cutty Flam? Ryu-Chan•|•Talk 22:55, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

Doesn't make it part of his name, Kaido. Awaikage Talk 22:58, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

Drop the Mr., especially since we dropped the "chan" for Sadi (as Ryu said). Hell, he's introduced as "Tanaka-san" so the Mr. isn't even accurate. It's iffy wether Shonen Jump intoductions should be trusted or not anyway. JapaneseOPfan :: Talk 20:15, June 27, 2016 (UTC)

On this wiki, you guys prefer what the character prefers just like Ace. He prefers to be called Portgas D. Ace, rather than Gol D. Ace (personally I think the character's real name should be used for article). If Sadi prefers to be called Sadi-chan, then that whould be the article title Meshack (talk) 03:58, June 28, 2016 (UTC)

@Meshack, that only applies to their actual name. Characters wanting to be referred to with a title does not influence page naming, otherwise Vergo would be called Vergo-san.

And I guess it's better not to fully trust Shonen Jump, given that when they introduced Lucci for the film they spelled his name as "Rob Rucchi". Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 03:07, June 29, 2016 (UTC)

Laughter StyleEdit

Does anyone know his laughter style? Meshack (talk) 23:14, August 22, 2016 (UTC)

Armor Edit

Does anyone know if it was intentional that Tanaka's armor resembles this? Like several authors before him, Oda sometimes references Saint Seiya, and it struck me as odd when Tanaka's armor looks like a chibi version of a Gold Cloth. Toei is also behind the anime of both franchises, which kind of makes me think it might have been a sneaky tribute by the anime crew (or Oda himself).
