Tarako is a young boy who lives in Suigyoku Town on Jail Island with his mother Omusubi. He appears in the video game One Piece: World Seeker.[1]
Appearance[]
Tarako is a small, tan-skinned young boy with short brown hair and a missing top tooth. He wears a brown shirt with white patches that does not cover all of his chest, a small green vest, a large green hat with brown patches on his head, a blue scarf around his neck, a blue sash around his waist, brown knee-length shorts, and black shoes.[1]
Personality[]
Tarako was excited to see Luffy due to him not being a Marine sailor, which are the only people he usually sees. He was helpful to Luffy in telling him where to find his mother.
History[]
One Piece: World Seeker[]
When the Marines began occupying Jewel Island, many of their sailors took residence in Suigyoku Town. All of the civilians moved out except for Tarako and his family due to his mother Omusubi making delicious lunches. One day Tarako was approached outside his house by the pirate Monkey D. Luffy, and he was excited to see someone who was not a Marine. Luffy asked where he could find Omusubi, and Tarako told him to go to the path by the lake nearby.
Trivia[]
- "Tarako" (鱈子, tarako?) means "pollock roe". His name's food theme is shared with his mother Omusubi (meaning "rice balls"), fitting her profession as a cook.
