The Thousand Gorry,[2] previously called the Maying Gorry (メーイング・ゴリー号, Mēingu Gorī-gō?),[1] is the Fischer's Pirates' ship.
It was given to them by Kaya and Merry and was intended to be similar to the Going Merry, with only small modifications to mark it as the Fischer's Pirates' ship.
Ship Design and Appearance[]
While called the Maying Gorry, the ship was nearly identical to the Going Merry, with only the jolly roger and figurehead being changed from a sheep to a shark.
After Mr. Kuromaku's forced timeskip, however, the appearance of the ship changed completely, to resemble the Thousand Sunny instead. As before, the only differences were the jolly roger and figurehead.
History[]
The Maying Gorry was first given to the Fischer's Pirates as a reward for defeating the Black Cat Pirates, by Merry and Kaya.[1]
They used it until arriving at the Arabasta Kingdom, at which it disappeared; they arrived at Skypiea without it[3], and later obtained the Sexy Foxy.[4] However, during their escape from Enies Lobby, the Maying Gorry came to retrieve them, and they began using it again.[5]
After Mr. Kuromaku's forced Timeskip, the Maying Gorry underwent a spontaneous transformation, resembling the Thousand Sunny, and Lip Shark gained the ability to merge with the bow.[6] With its new appearance, it was renamed the Thousand Gorry.[2]

- While unconfirmed, the Thousand Gorry had its own voice, implying it has a Klabautermann.[5]
