Captain Trap is a Marine captain that made his debut in ONE PIECE 3D! Trap Coaster.
Appearance
As a Marine captain, Trap wears the standard Marine coat. Under the Marine coat, he wears a purple striped suit over a yellow polka-dot shirt with a green tie.
On the left side of his face, Trap possesses a metal plate which covers the area around his eye including area above the mouth and beyond his nose to the left.
Personality
Trap is a man with great determination as he tries to make Monkey D. Luffy his right-hand man, despite Luffy's status as a wanted pirate and an enemy of the World Government.
History
Due to something that happened in the past, he is known as one of the most intelligent Marine captains.
Captain Trap sought out to capture the Thousand Sunny. Trap devised various traps to accomplish his goal of making Luffy his subordinate, of which included the use of Marine Kung Fu Dugongs and a Marine Giant.[2] His plans were ultimately foiled by the Gaon Cannon.

- Captain Trap's name and rank may be based off of Corvette Captain Georg von Trapp, an Austro-Hungarian Navy officer.
