The "Treasure Guardians", also called "stone statues" (石の像, ishi no zō?), are strange mechanical beasts that guard the treasure of the Nanatsu Islands.[1]
Overview[]
Appearance[]
The treasure guardians possess spherical torsos with two mechanical arms. Their necks are long and cable-like, while their heads resemble different animals. On top of their heads and hands they possess colored gemstone-like hemispheres.[1]
In their dormant state, the guardians appear as monochrome stone statues.[1]
Behavior[]
The treasure guardians normally lay dormant inside the treasure rooms of the various Nanatsu Islands ruins. They seem to be tasked or programmed to guard the treasure, as they activate and become hostile as soon as anyone enters the treasure room. They do not communicate in any way.[1]

- Xiquiripat is the only treasure guardian not fought by the player in a boss battle, instead being defeated in a cutscene by Gad and Sanji.
