This fruit appears to have similar aspects to the Buki Buki no Mi, which also allows the user to manifest large-scale firearms through their body parts.
This fruit is also similar to the non-canon Ute Ute no Mi, both allowing the users to manifest firearms.
This is one of few Devil Fruits with a name whose first part comprises a single quadrupled katakana, namely: tsu (ツ?). The other such fruits are Streusen's Kuku Kuku no Mi and Karasu's Susu Susu no Mi.
