Hey there! Sorry, we don't mean to scare you, but you are not allowed to upload any of the following:
- Fanart of any kind.
- Pictures not related to One Piece.
- Duplicate images.
- Videos of any kind, including videos from Youtube or similar sites.
- .jpg, .JPG, or .JPEG image formats. .png is the preferred format.
- Images with no source provided.
- Images with no licensing or images without proper licensing.
- Images that have not been categorized or images without proper categories.
- Images with poor file names that do not reflect the content of the picture. Random numbers and letters should not be used in file names.
- Scanlation images with English text.
- Images that are not used for an article on this wiki. (User pages and blogs are not considered articles)
For tips on how to upload a picture for the wiki correctly, check out this step-by-step instruction.
If you want to use pictures in your profile or blogs please use those that are already on the wiki or upload your images on another site (like photobucket, imageshack, etc. Check out this blog for more information).
Please read the Image Guidelines before uploading any more images to the wiki. If you have any questions about these rules, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. 00:20, February 7, 2015 (UTC)
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by getting in trouble about the Nami pic as I can't find any discussion relating to it. As stated in the Image Guidelines, you need to put a source, licensing, and categories on the image's page after you upload it, and you didn't do that for the Nami pic, but another user was kind enough to add them for you.
In regards to uploading a young Drake portrait, all I can say is to make sure the image is a square (same number of pixels tall and wide), it's at least 120 by 120px in size, and that you add the required information to the image page as stated by the Image Guidelines. They're really not alike at all. They might both hate pirates and use technology, but otherwise they're completely different. Typically we shy away from character comparisons in trivia unless they go beyond the superficial or are super obvious. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 13:07, June 14, 2020 (UTC)
As Kaido King of the Beasts explained to you before, "you need to put a source, licensing, and categories on the image's page after you upload it". Also, the image needs to be .png, yours was .jpg.
Re:Whitebeard Pirates Allies
The allies section is for characters/groups that the group officially enters an alliance with; simply helping out the WB Pirates briefly during the war doesn't make those people their allies. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 17:56, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
I don't see that rule brought up in the Guidebook sections. While I can see why we would avoid that on character pages, in this instance, avoiding large empty spaces should overrule that.
In truth, it's the Cquote template's inflexibility that is the problem. But until that gets fixed, it's better to have those quotes at the top of the articles. Dragonus Nesha (talk) 00:06, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
There is no need to split group galleries into sections just for the captain/leader. There is only a need to split a group by hierarchy if there are a large number of members. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 22:41, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
I think the current Cook infobox image is superior to your suggestion, as it shows people in the process of cooking while your image only shows the serving of food. Also, Zoro's official position is Combatant and we have a picture of someone else for that as well. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 17:18, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Successful SMILE Consumers
- What category is it under?
- There are no "Successful SMILE Consumers" outside the Gifters.
Cook exclusively refers to people who cook as a profession, not everyone who has ever cooked food. Otherwise a lot more people would be categorized as cooks. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 20:14, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Re:Sodom and Gomorrah
I personally don't see a need to do that. There is no indication that the genie has a consciousness of its own and exists to do anything other than serve Daifuku, which makes it a bit different from stuff like Kamijiro and Gorishiro. As far as I'm aware it doesn't even have a name. I think its traits are described perfectly well on the Hoya Hoya no Mi page as it stands right now. Pre and Tea
Hi Mugiwara! Do you have a source for your recent contribution to Pre and Tea's page? I understand that we can assume that their past includes being animated and traveling with Perona, but I think we should remove unless you have a source that gives this background. Otherwise, the context of their animation is speculatory. 15:02, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
Marine Captain Infobox
The first image was bad because too much was taken up by the close-up of Smoker's face, and the second technically only has one captain since that scene is when Smoker was promoted. Both images also suffer from low resolution quality.
Additionally, Koby is a current Marine Captain, while Smoker and Hina have been promoted beyond that rank. So why not feature a high quality image of a person currently holding that rank? I get you favor more people in the image, but I don't think that outweighs the other factors. Dragonus Nesha (talk) 20:25, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Re:Linlin and Hancock
Just because characters have similar traits doesn't mean they are similar characters. IMO, perhaps it can be noted that they are the token females of their Great Power groups, but everything else is either a stretch, incredibly minor or being interpreted in such a way to sound similar whilst not really having a connection in a vacuum. We also should keep trivia concise and not go down rabbit holes noting increasingly minute similarities. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 22:30, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
With so little information about the crew, it's best not to make such assumptions. Additionally, all four confirmed members have those distinctive masks; the others you suggested don't. There are also far more subordinates shown in the Big Cat Café than those five. Why did you apply the distinction to those extra two and not the rest?
