The names I put down are accurate. I played the first half hour of Set Sail, and I tried letting the game set the characters' names (i.e. clearing the box and pressing start multiple times). Those were the names that came up every time if I recall correctly. As for World Seeker, I logged all the characters' aplearances by in-game chapter, and none of them are randomly generated. Most appear multiple times with the same physical appearance. I just haven't made all those pages because there are over 30 of them. It would take forever by myself. The only other game where you can change names is Legend of the Rainbow Island, and I did the same thing when I played the first two hours of it. Of course, if we can find secondary sources like game manuals or articles to back those up, that is ideal, but I have yet to find anything of the sort. Also, I have found a walkthrough for Set Sail as well, but it isn't translated lkke the Rainbow Island one.{{User:Montblanc_Noland/Sig1}} 02:09, June 8, 2019 (UTC)

Galley infobox

Greetings Nightmare Pirates.

I feel really bad saying this after you've completed your hard work, but I am going to have to revert the Crescent Moon Galley page back to the way it was. This is because we do not squeeze three pictures in one infobox, and Galley refers to three people so we cannot make just create an infobox with one picture either. Also, except for the final one you have uploaded, the 1st two images in the infobox are already used in the page, therefore we cannot use it twice. JapaneseOPfan :: Talk 02:46, July 5, 2011 (UTC)

All those images

About all those images you've uploaded for the Red Hair Pirates and Buggy Pirates templates, I am afraid they are all unusable. See, they are incorrect dimensions for thumbnails, they are all poorly named, they are all low quality, some even have watermarks, and they are all very minor and unnamed crew members that only appeared once or so. We do not need any of that. Please stop it before it goes more out of hand. Yata Talk to me 01:02, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

Image

For what? And sign your post with ~~~~. Yata Talk to me 04:15, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, never mind. I saw it was unused for 4 minutes, and reckoned it was unnecessary. Sorry for being rash. Yata Talk to me 04:16, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Incorrect dimensions (Rika's portrait was 170 x 173, but correctly said, it should be 170 x 170 or something like that). And please categorize and source all your images, it saves me time. Yata Talk to me 04:39, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

other templates

making this template has told me that there are several templates more that should be made, off course you are free to help however before I begin I would like to tell you that we on the wikia only work with confirmed facts, you cannot just assume someone is a captain for instance, anyway for future templates it is best if we first consult one another and for instance agree to each do a certain part of the template, which will allow use to work together instead of seperate from one another. Rokuroshi

Please give source about where his name was give. If you don't source it, the article will get deleted.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  21:16, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Also please read this carefully.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  21:21, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Listen dude, if you don't give source, the article will be deleted. You edits are considered vandalism and if you don't stop ignoring the rules, a ban will be necessary.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  21:56, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Add this next to the character's name

{{Qref|name=Name|chapter=The chapter where his name was revealed (ignore it if he's filler)|episode=The episode where his name was revealed|text=Rokuroshi's name is revealed.}}

Or you can just say it on the talk page and me and other users will do the rest. Also please sign using 4 tildes (~~~~).

 Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  22:03, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

There are two problems with your source

  1. Here you said that he first appeared in episode 215 but the reference you added says 163....That's not legit at all.
  2. You have to say how his name was revealed in order to prove that you're not making it up.

 Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  22:10, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Dude, if you don't give a legit source I'll delete it.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  22:22, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Zoomed images

Hi Nightmare Pirates, on this wiki we prefer not to zoom in images and lessen their quality like you did with File:Governor Portrait.png and File:Shine Portrait.png. If a cropped version of an image is less than minimum size requirements, we prefer to keep it uncropped. So in the future keep this in mind. Thanks. JustSomeDude...  Talk | 03:44, September 26, 2013 (UTC)

Ed

Hey there. I see you're editting the Randolph special pages a lot. I was wondering, if you are working on that stuff, could you destub Ed's page? I'm in charge of the stub team and tried to get Staw to do it, but he didn't. You don't have to if you don't want, but it would help. Thanks! Montblanc Noland (talk) 00:13, November 18, 2013 (UTC)

Lego and Jim

Hey Nightmare. I think you are onto something with Jim and Lego. I reevaluated the video with examples of the other VA's and I think the two are mixed up. I wrote on the talk page but no one responded. Montblanc Noland (talk) 22:55, December 18, 2013 (UTC)

Loguetown

Hey Nightmare! Nice catch on that missed character. You've been doing a lot of great work recently, so keep it up! Montblanc Noland :: Talk 22:20, August 14, 2018 (UTC)

Credit-Named Characters

Hey Nightmare! I just checked out Bomba (Marine), and I was wondering how you find character names in anime episode credits. Do you watch subbed or dubbed, and are there other characters that still need pages made for them? Thanks. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 15:14, December 29, 2018 (UTC)

Makes sense. When I'm trying to identify characters, I sometimes try to compare to the same voice actor's other roles, but it can still be tricky. Your reason is super logical.

As for Rabbits, it depends on if his name is spelled phoenetically (like Ra-bi-t-su) or like the full word Rabbits (うさぎ Usagi?). If it is the first one, then it's the Newkama's name. Kuro is a great example. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 20:57, December 29, 2018 (UTC)

Maybe, but a lot of characters have names related to their appearance or abilities. Kuma, Pearl, Heat, Usagihebi, Batman, etc. are all in the same boat, except they are canon names. The difference is that this is from the anime, but I think it still counts. Worst case scenario, I defend it on the talk page amd ot stays, or it gets temporarily removed and remade once the character receives a proper name from Oda. I'd be happy to make the page if you want! Montblanc Noland :: Talk 07:03, December 30, 2018 (UTC)

Don't worry, making pages like that, or at least destubbing them, is kind of my thing. I destubbed over 170 pages, plus made 100+ from scratch. I've been itching for a big page to write like this, plus Rabbits (or the character I think it is) is my favorite Newkama. I'll take care of it, no problemo. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 15:12, December 30, 2018 (UTC)

Binge

After looking at your recent edits I hope you'll join me in reopening discussion for a binge and what I said at Rhavkin's talk page will explain my idea for it better.--Rgilbert27 (talk) 01:58, January 2, 2019 (UTC)

Re:Totto Land Gallery.

Alright for now I'll let you keep them as under officals, however I'm brining back the Minister topic on the Totto Land talk page for us and others to discuss and see if they should be under the officals or under BMP. If you want you can copy everything you just said on my talk page over to the Totto Land talk page. Opera298 (talk) 04:58, January 2, 2019 (UTC)

Yeah sure, I'd still say it's best to discuss things out on the talk page and also see what others say, this is better than us going back and forth and having a little edit war. Opera298 (talk) 05:04, January 2, 2019 (UTC)

Funan Bros

Hey Nightmare! Great job on the Funan Bros page. It looks incredible! I was wondering, where did you get the "Early One Piece"? I am always looking for ways to improve character pages, but I don't know where to look to find that stuff.

By the way, I saw someone asking if the rabbit newkama was named on r/OnePiece, so I told him that I was looking into a page based on what we found. I'll try figuring that out of the next day or two and get started on the page. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 21:37, January 19, 2019 (UTC)

I was just looking at the Funan page again, and I was wondering, should we move the Boss Luffy section to be under the history section? We could mark it as non-canon like the other arcs. Also, I'm having difficulty accessing the anime online, so bear with me on Rabbits. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 21:48, January 22, 2019 (UTC)

Great! Btw, are you on our discord server? Montblanc Noland :: Talk 23:33, January 22, 2019 (UTC)

Map

What map were you talking about in regard to Komurasaki? I didn't see it in the new chapter. DancePowderer Talk 08:13, March 29, 2019 (UTC)

Nevermind. I found it. Sorry to bother you.DancePowderer Talk 08:22, March 29, 2019 (UTC)

Isaac

Hey Nightmare! Thanks for filling in Isaac's history. I was wondering, could you add references to it? If you're not sure how to reference the game, check out John (Non-Canon); you'll see that I denoted which in-game chapter things occurred in. Keep up the great work! Montblanc Noland :: Talk 22:21, April 9, 2019 (UTC)

Crew Opportunity

Hey Nightmare! I'm not sure if you are familiar with the old "crews" we used to have here, but they were basically groups of users who focused on specific wiki issues (inconsistent image quality, missing references, short pages, etc.). I have an idea for a new one, a "Research Crew", that would replace our current Stub Crew in fleshing out stub pages, but it would also be for users who want to expand old pages that aren't marked as stubs and users who want to research to find pages we are missing. Since you have a history of both of those kinds of edits (ex. Tightrope Walking Funan Bros and Bomba (Marine)), I wanted to ask if you'd be interested in joining. Of course, do not feel obligated to join if you don't want to, and your edits would not be restricted to this kind of work only if you were to join. If you want more info, I'd be happy to send a more thorough description. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 03:04, June 6, 2019 (UTC)

Here's a little write-up I put together with more details, and I can list some of the projects I have in mind if you want.

"Like the old Stub Crew, the Research Crew will be responsible for fleshing out stub pages to the best of its abilities using the manga, anime, movies, games, etc. However, the Research Crew will also do work to uncover characters, locations, and other OP-related articles that the wiki has yet to catalog. Examples of this would include characters from Legend of the Rainbow Island, a game with many names characters who were undiscovered prior to the publishing of a translated walkthrough, or the Premier Show 2007, which was mostly summarized in a Japanese blog post and translated to give us a plot summary and expand Deacon’s page. Additionally, the Research Crew will update older pages on the wiki that are not up to current page quality standards. Pages like Pickles, Nako, and the Utan Divers, fleshed out by Content Moderator and Team Captain Montblanc Noland, are prime examples of what this work entails: cataloging each appearance of a character and adding all available information on a character to their page."

I have obviously not finished the Legend of Rainbow Island pages or fixed up Deacon, but I have the full sources for both. To be up-front, there is a lot of non-canon content that our wiki lacks, so that will be the bulk of what I do (and have done so far). However, you are allowed to work on whatever you like, as there will be a lot more options than just old video games or live shows.Montblanc Noland :: Talk 02:00, June 7, 2019 (UTC)
