Vaun is a miner who lives in Ogyoku Mine Town on Jail Island. He is also the father of Pomme. He appears in the video game One Piece: World Seeker.[1]

Vaun is a large, middle-aged man with pale skin. He has short brown hair, a mustache over his upper lip, and a short beard on his chin. He wears an orange checkered shirt with a wide collar, a green sleeved vest over his shirt, a green sash around his waist, and blue pants. He also wears a large straw top hat on his head with a green band.[1]
Personality[]
Vaun is a no-nonsense man who hates pirates and is unwilling to trust them, so he was quite surprised when Luffy and Usopp made good on their deal to bring him gems to purchase his tools.[1]
History[]
One Piece: World Seeker[]
Vaun bought some tools from a salesman, not knowing that these tools had been stolen from Usopp of the Straw Hat Pirates. Usopp later came to Vaun and explained that he had bought his tools, but Vaun did not believe him and refused to give them back. Jeanne intervened to keep Vaun from calling the Marines, but the man did not budge on the tools. Usopp's captain Monkey D. Luffy then arrived, and the trio offered to go into Ogyoku Mine and mine some gems to buy back the tools, which Vaun accepted. The trio managed to successfully return with a large Lustrous Scarlet Gem, and Vaun was surprised that they held up their end of the deal as he held up his and gave Usopp his tools back.[1]
